This is a tough time but we're here for you-whether it's a new pantry recipe or a useful tip for your kitchen here are some recipes to make things run little more smoothly for you and your loved ones. I don't know whether the simple comforts of cooking will indelibly cure the ailments of today and tomorrow, but I do know that walking into kitchen to make yourself something to eat-no matter your situation and how you feel about it-is always a good thing and nourishing act.

Here at wellspringsofideas we our sharing our QUARANTINE PIZZA recipe.

Here goes the Ingredients (As per single pizza):
πŸ•To make dough:
  • All purpose flour(maida) - 1 cup
  • Sugar Powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Baking powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Baking soda - ¼ teaspoon
  • Salt - as per the taste
  • Ghee/Oil -1 teaspoon
  • Curd - ¼ cup
  • Water(if required)
πŸ•To make White Sauce:
  • Butter - 1 tablespoon
  • All purpose flour -1 tablespoon
  • Milk - ½ - ¾ cup
  • Water - 2 to 3 teaspoon
  • Salt - as per the taste
πŸ•To make Red sauce/ Pizza sauce:
  • Ginger - ¼ inch
  • Garlic - 3-4 cloves
  • Small onion
  • Small tomato
  • Water - ½ cup
  • Oil - 2-3 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - As per taste

Method:
To prepare Dough:
Take a bowl, add all the ingredients(as mentioned above) and mix. If required add water little by little and knead the dough for 5 to 6 mins at least. You will notice the dough becomes soft. Cover the dough with wet cloth and let it rest for about an hour.

To Prepare White Sauce:
In a pan, add butter and maida. And at a low flame cook this mixture for 3 to 4 mins. Then add milk little by little to the mixture and keep whisking. Add water and cook till it thickens. Add salt as per the taste. Transfer the mixture(Sauce) in a bowl an keep it aside.

To Prepare Red sauce:
In a pan, add garlic, ginger, chopped onion and tomato. To this add half cup of water and cover the lid. Let it cook at the low flame for 6 to mins. When the mixture cools, transfer it to mixer jar and grind it well. Take a pan, add oil, pour the paste in it. To this add chilli powder, sugar, salt and water and stir well. Cover the lid and let the mixture cook at the low flame for 5 to 6 mins till it get semi-thickens. Transfer the mixture(Sauce) in a bowl an keep it aside.

To prepare Pizza:
Take the pizza plate(or aluminium if not available), spread ghee/oil on the plate. Take the dough, roll it to a round shape(thickness a per your choice) and transfer it to the plate. Spread a layer of red sauce on the top followed by the white sauce. Sprinkle the available finely chopped vegetables(Capsicum, onion, tomato, corn, carrot, etc.) and chilli flakes on it.
On a Preheated khadai with 1- 2 cup of salt, place the plate and cover the lid. On a low flame bake it
for 25 to 25 mins.
Transfer the Pizza to plate and is ready to serve with tomato sauce.
