JOB SEEKERS HARDSHIPS
In this dreadly year, all our lives have been turned topsy-turvy and we all are collectively scampering to find solace. On one side is the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic with drastically increasing new cases and number of deaths, and on the other is the downfall of economy. Betwixt and between is the upcoming graduates and skilled workforce from all sectors. Owing to the crises brought about by the pandemic, there is a huge requirement of jobs.
️Among lakhs of upcoming graduates, some are already placed in some companies among which few offers are held and delayed and perhaps some are withdrawn. Then what about remaining freshers and job seekers?
We can’t reprove the companies/colleges neither
the government nor sit ideally at home.️ We can’t change the situation nor the
economy. There are many ways to achieve your destination staying at home and
use the time in doing some productive work.
If you want to know how to invest time in
productive way and make yourself aware about the situation, you are at the
right place. Here are three notes.
👉 Firstly start with building your skills. Update yourself with current technology related to your profession. The common routine that we follow is browse for some jobs on job portals and apply the jobs that match the skills, interest, knowledge and most importantly the salary. And stand by for the results. But the reality is, barely people get selected for the jobs and many are turned down. Here the typical mistake we do is without having expertise in skills and experience the job demands we apply and oftenly left spurned. So having knowledge in depth is very important
👉 Secondly
change your perceptive towards job. Give a thought on how to transform yourself
from job seekers to job Providers. Yeah it sounds something hard or difficult,
but not impossible. Train your mind towards entrepreneurship. No one becomes
success or rich over a night. This is the right moment to invest your time for
something you didn’t even thought i.e. setting a path towards entrepreneurship.
This doesn’t mean, in excitement, you invest a
huge amount in something and suffer a loss. Start by joining some zero/very low
investment business and starting earning some bucks of money. Through this you
start developing the communication skills, marketing skills, etc. required to
become a entrepreneur. And this will be your first step.
👉 Thirdly
don't put blinders on your eyes like a racing horse and keep focusing only on
getting job and settling. Keep your mind open and think in all perspectives.
Because, it may take some months or may be years together for economy getting
stabilize. Later you should not repent for the time you have lost.
Hope reading this was worthwhile. So start
developing yourself, Discover your potential. It's never too late to start with
something new.
All the best!
